Dr Kellie is an endorsed ADHD prescriber, meaning she is able to both diagnose ADHD and prescribe ADHD medications for patients over the age of six (6).
Please note as this is a specialised service, the fees differ from Dr Kellie’s regular fee schedule.

Prescribing ADHD medication
For patients who have been diagnosed with ADHD, but have not started medication.
Obtaining a Diagnosis
For patients who have not yet been diagnosed with ADHD.
The total cost is $1000. A $300 deposit is required when booking the initial appointment. If you have a valid Medicare card, you may be eligible for a rebate of $336.25, meaning the out-of-pocket cost, after reimbursement from Medicare, is $663.75. The cost of the service also includes non-face to face time Dr Kellie may spend reviewing assessment and test results.
If a diagnosis is not made, Dr Kellie will discuss alternative diagnoses and appropriate next steps.
First appointment: Initial 60-minute appointment
The purpose of this appointment is for Dr Kellie to gain an understanding of your medical history. Following this appointment, you may need to get blood tests, assessments or other investigations completed.
Total upfront cost: $600
Medicare Rebate (if eligible): $207.90
Out of pocket fee: $392.10
Second appointment: Follow-up 40-minute appointment
The purpose of this appointment is to review the results of any investigations/blood tests and assessments completed after the first appointment. If ADHD is diagnosed at this appointment, Dr Kellie will prescribe medication if appropriate.
Total upfront cost: $400
Medicare Rebate (if eligible): $128.35
Out of pocket fee: $271.65
Third and ongoing appointments: Follow-up 20-minute appointment
Further follow up appointments will be required to ensure the medication is working well for you, and for ongoing prescriptions.
Follow-up appointments are charged as per the regular fee schedule.
Prescribing ADHD medication
For patients who have been diagnosed with ADHD, but have not started medication.
First appointment: Initial 30-minute appointment
The purpose of this appointment is for Dr Kellie to gain an understanding of your medical history and current symptoms.
Following this appointment, you may need to get blood tests, assessments or other investigations completed. Please bring any reports/documentation supporting your diagnosis and previous prescriptions
Total upfront cost: $230
Medicare Rebate (if eligible): $87.10
Out of pocket fee: $142.90
Second and ongoing appointments: Follow-up 20-minute appointment
The purpose of this appointment is to review the results of any investigations/blood tests and assessments completed after the first appointment.
Dr Kellie will prescribe medication if appropriate.
Further follow up appointments will be required to ensure the medication is working well for you, and for ongoing prescriptions

For patients who have been diagnosed with ADHD, and are wanting continuation of an ongoing prescription.
First appointment: Initial 30-minute appointment
The purpose of this appointment is for Dr Kellie to gain an understanding of your medical history and current symptoms.
Dr Kellie will prescribe medication if appropriate.
Further follow up appointments will be required to ensure the medication is working well for you, and for ongoing prescriptions.
